DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS OCTOBER 25th

The NOVEMBER TECHNICIAN CLASS HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR THE
FIRST THREE SATURDAYS IN NOVEMBER.  (the 7th, 14th & 21st)
SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS

This Technician class is comprised of about 20 hours of class instruction, which includes:
Video & Power Point Presentations, Hands-On Displays, Demos, Class Discussions,
Practice Tests, and More!

INDEPENDENT SELF STUDY (outside of the classroom) from this study guide is expected,
and is essential to successful completion of the class and F.C.C. testing.
Although attendence at a class is NOT required to pass the F.C.C. exam,
many find the topics discussed helpful, and informitive.

The class is based on the study guide / operator's manual pictured on the left.  It is called simply "HAM RADIO LICENSE MANUAL". (ISBN: 0-87259-963-9)  Published by the ARRL, it's price is $24.95.  One is included in the price of the class.  If you already have this manual, or wish to obtain one on your own, PLEASE note that when you register.  Although the former manual "NOW YOU'RE TALKING" still contains useful and correct TECNICIAL information, the FCC RULES, BAND ALLOCATIONS, Frequencies, and other changes renders it unsuitible for this class.

PRE-REGISTRATION FOR THIS CLASS IS REQUIRED
(This is so the correct number of study guides and other handouts can be ordered)

Register by E-mail to: n7nbb@arrl.net
Or Telephone Cameron Smith: 406.899.2550
Deadline for Registration for this Class is October 25th

Cost of the Class is $30.00 which includes the Study Guide (above) .
T
he balance of the class fee covers the costs involved with copying, printing of the handouts
and other expenses involved with providing the class. (Equipment maintenance, etc)
Families, roommates (or whatever) can share a single manual,
provided they will have ample time for individual study.
In this case the extra person will pay only $5.00 for the class.

The class is comprised of:
Three Saturday Sessions, as follows:
November 7th, 14th and June 21st.
All Sessions run from 9:00am until 5:00pm
